The Mind of Mencia
Mencia might be really harsh on his words, but he's right. Education now is definitely a joke. Like how he said people take pills and demand their child to pass if they have ADD is ridiculous. Being Egyptian, i know how intense it is over there and how much they study which is why they're becoming intelligent and skilled. China especially and all other countries are more advanced than America. Mencia though he's a comedian and exaggerates everything, definitely has a point and speaks the truth about what he says.

The Media
No matter how hard i try, i can't deny that the media has an effect on me. I try to ignore it, but the media has this tendency to suck you in. Everyone wants to know the hottest thing that's happening, who got shot, who was murdered, hurricanes, everything and anything new. Every conversation starts with "Did you hear what happened...?" I think the media can something change the story since it can only have about 5 minutes of a clip, but it still catches my eye. The news, headlines, posterboards, etc. are everywhere, it's almost impossible not to be affected by it. If the media has an opinion about something like the Genasix, people can't help being on side, which is why everyone wore black, i too am on their side, that being proof. Apparently the news and media is the guideline of life.

Miss Teen USA 2007
To be completely honest, I thought the question that was asked might have been slightly difficult to answer on the spot, but is it was quit clear. I understand she was under a lot of pressure, but that is not an excuse to stutter and bagger on and on about absolutley nothing. I had to watch the video about three times just to try to understand what she was attempting to say. After a bit of research, I understand that these girls are prepped for questions such as the one given to her to avoid catastrophic answers such as the one South Carolina gave. For example, like the SAT's, the more you practice, the better you get. I don't feel bad for her because I believe if she had practiced enough, she wouldn't of messed up the way she did.

My Blog
My initial experience with this blog is confusion. Even though it seems really simple, I, for some reason, am so confused. I coudn't find what I was suppose to blog about as well as where to blog it. I couldn't view other's blog posts, I was only able to vew their teammates. Now I understand and figured out it's just as simple as it seems. =)
